Class Reunion Ideas
Here is a list of ideas we came up with to consider while planning our high school reunion.
- Allow or invite other classmates from other years to attend
- Invite teachers
- Professional photographer for group photo; also available to take individual, couples, or small group photos.
- Golf
- Friday evening gathering
- Saturday day activity
- Saturday evening gathering
- Sunday morning breakfast, brunch, or other activity
- Picnic at a park
- Family activity, to include children
- Have a Tailgate Party one afternoon or evening
- Coordinate it with some other school event, such as Homecoming football game
- Coordinate it with some major event in the home town
- Have mini-reunions on off years
- Decide the attire: causal, informal, formal, or school colors
- Performance by a school group (band, cheerleaders)

- Non-alcoholic reception at the school
- Encourage attendees to bring their cameras, and afterwards send their pictures to one person for compilation of all pictures on disk.

- Start a fund for a future reunion
- Have a moment of silence for classmates who have passed away
- Make it easy for people to reminisce, rather than watching a show
- Gather photos, and make a Powerpoint slide presentation to show either as a feature, or have playing constantly somewhere in background
- Provide activities to keep spouses interested
- Check school or school library for extra yearbook copies they might donate
- Have classmates fill out a questionnaire with memories and a bio; Have them copied and bound for reunion attendees
- Disposable cameras on tables, like at a wedding
- Prepare a master list of classmates' addresses and emails
- Name tags with high school senior pictures on them
- Have a registration deadline, with higher registration cost after the deadline, to encourage people to send in early registration; this helps planning
